East of Eden, two brothers reveal two very different responses to God. Cain comes in pride and self-reliance, while Abel comes by faith, trusting God's provision. As sin grows from jealousy to murder and from one generation to the next, God faithfully preserves the promised offspring and continues building a people who call on His name. Genesis 4 reminds us that there are still only two ways to live: the way of Cain or the way of faith, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the true and better Offspring whose blood speaks a better word than Abel's.
