Genesis 2 brings the Creator near, revealing that every part of human life our origin, our work, our obedience, and our relationships was designed to flourish in the presence of God. As Yahweh forms Adam, places him in Eden, establishes marriage, and calls him to faithful stewardship, we see that we were made to dwell with God, not to live independently of Him. Ultimately, this passage points us to Christ, who covers our shame and brings us back into the presence of the God we were created to know.
