Humanity is the crown of God's creation, uniquely made in His image to represent His rule and reflect His glory. Rather than inventing our own identity or building our own kingdoms, God calls us to faithfully steward His world and find our rest in Him. This passage ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, the perfect image of God and the Last Adam, who restores what sin has broken and invites weary sinners into His finished work.
